The first 4 days, we covered having something to offer (product), how you conduct yourself (principles), who your customers might be and what they want (promotion), and planning and building (project).
Today, we’re going to focus on People: Working with others.
We all have different personalities. We’re wired to think from a certain perspectives, which changes with age and experience.
We have motivators; power, money, sex, strength, flexibility, agility, wit, strategy, success.
Those motivators affect how we think, feel, and behave.
As you learn how to be successful, you’ll learn how to read body language, understand social behavior so you can work within that knowledge or people to have them help you complete your work.
Influence and inspiration are important motivators to convince people to follow you – whether total strangers or your most intimate family members.
Learning how to work with people will reduce stress and increase cohesiveness as an overall unit, making you more effective and likely to achieve your goals.
Of the above skills I mention, which ones are you good at? Which ones do you need help with? What sort of help do you need?
Coaching can help. Taking an online course would work, too.
What’s your next step to becoming better at working effectively with people?
