They are many fast cars out there. They are many good looking cars out there, too. How do you choose a car then that has capable power, good looks, and that edge? Don’t know, but the Porsche GT3 RS is one of those cars that does it for me. This car is absolutely stunning.

Island Import 2012
Well it was definitely fun. Until the cops came. Yesterday, March 18, 2012 was Island Import day, and for those who don’t know, it is basically an event in NYC where a whole bunch of drivers with heavily modded cars meet up and drive to a predetermined location to admire each others rides. We met in Brooklyn, got on the Southern State Parkway, obeyed all traffic laws including driving within the speed limits and after getting turned around by State Troopers eventually reached our new location, Dave and Busters parking lot. It was a sight to see. At least 500 cars on the highway, all driving 43 1/2 mph (which is within the speed limits on the SSP). Of course the State troopers didn’t think it was cool what we were doing, nor did Channel 12 news, who drastically exaggerated our numbers to 5000 cars and said we were drag racing. Really? Who drag races? What is this Fast and the Furious? But I digress. It was awesome to meet up with our fellow car enthusiasts and get to see/show off all the rides that are out there taming these NYC streets. There are tons of photos and videos showing off what went down, so click the link below or the Lowered Congress link on the right to check out more.
